About Musiq Entertainment DJs

Musiq Entertainment has been DJing at events since 1999. We love everything fun and as such were the first DJ company to offer photo booths as well and we believe we're still number one in value when you combine a photoboothME product with one of our DJs. We have our own DJ webpage www.musiq.com.au  but decided to include some more "essential reading" here as well.

A Musiq Entertainment DJ does not take music seriously. We play music for fun. A Musiq Entertainment DJ however does take their job of playing the right music at the right time seriously. Thankfully there is often several right choices and we are constantly thinking about several of them. 'Should I play that Beatles song that Grandma asked for? That Ed Sheeran track that teenage cousin begged me to play earlier? Michael Jackson? Van Morrison?' Beatles it is, that gives us 2 minutes and 32 seconds to make the next decision whilst Grandma and everyone else Twists and Shout's.

Musiq Entertainment specialises in event DJs. What we are trying to say here is at Musiq Entertainment we don't aim to get to work and play that set we have perfected before hitting the night club and we don't come to work on a mission that we are going to play our favourite song(s). We want to play your favourite song, your guests favourite songs and songs that everyone at your event knows and responds to. We are constantly scanning your guests for reactions to songs that are playing both positive and negative, refining our thoughts on what they will enjoy and adapting our set list to your requirements.

We welcome reasonable or appropriate requests made either prior to or during the event (unless told otherwise by the hirer) and we want to give everyone the opportunity to hear and hopefully dance to a song they like. Not just the cute guy or girl on table 8.

Hiring a Musiq Entertainment DJ for your event ensures that you have a DJ with excellent music knowledge. A DJ that has prepared themselves thoroughly for your event based on your instructions. A DJ who uses the high quality equipment and has an extensive music collection including popular music from all ages and genres. A DJ who is well presented and more importantly has a positive attitude when approached by your guests. A DJ who will work along with your venue staff and or Master of Ceremonies to ensure your event runs smoothly, in fact several of our DJs can also act as a Master of Ceremonies for a small additional fee.
